Today we are going to get into Drake's love life a little bit by analyzing a song that seems to be in reference to the musician Rihanna, who Drake has been in a relationship with before. Drake released the song in question, Days in the East, in April 2014 and it was not a single from any of his albums.

In the song, Drake is talking about a relationship between him and a woman that is being rekindled. There is the first Rihanna clue right there. Drake and Rihanna had not been seen together for a very long time until recently when the song came out giving clues that maybe they are rekindling their relationship. Of course, that alone doesn't mean much, but it is a connection to the song.

One clue that I find to be very specific is one that talks about a certain place. Drake says "Waking up in Amsterdam with the boy, Long flight home." When Drake was on tour in 2014 before this song was released, Rihanna actually flew to Amsterdam with him for his tour. Paparazzi even took pictures of them in Amsterdam holding hands.

There is one final line that really sets the Rihanna theory in stone for me. The line is "Why you keep asking me about her? She's not here right now, she's not here right now." Every time Drake is interviewed or talked to by the paparazzi, they always ask about his relationship with Rihanna and whether a not they are dating, or just friends, or if they even talk.

So what do you think? Do you think Days in the East is about Rihanna and Drake's relationship? Let us know on our "Connect" page!
