Songs and lyrics are written about many emotions, and a lot of the time stem directly from them. Drake's music is no different. He writes songs about being mad, sad, happy, etc. We are going to analyze his song Back to Back, which was written in 2015, in response to one specific tweet.

On July 21st 2015, Meek Mill, a fellow rapper, wrote a tweet accusing Drake of using a ghost writer and not writing the lyrics used in his songs. Drake is not an avid user of twitter, but clearly heard about the tweet.
Drake responded in the best way he knew how, by releasing his first dis track that week, called Charged Up. However, the track did not impress Meek Mill, who continued to tweet about Drake.
The lyrics in Charged Up were broad. They never said anything directly related to Meek Mill or Twitter. One of the better lyrics in the song that kind of points at Meek Mill says "cops are killing people with their arms up, and your main focus is tryna harm us?" Referencing the fact that there are bigger things in the world to worry about than trying to call out another rapper for something that probably isn't true.
Since Meek Mill continued to dis Drake after Charged Up, the song Back to Back was born. Drake realized that even though Charged Up was a good dis track, he needed to use lyrics that specifically targeted Meek Mill.
Back to Back has lyrics directly targeted at Meek Mill that cannot be interpreted any differently. Drake says "yeah, trigger fingers turn to twitter fingers," talking about Meek Mill's tweet that started the whole feud. The best line in my opinion, that came from the whole feud, and that completely dissed Meek, says "Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?" Meek Mill is in a relationship with Nicki Minaj who was on tour at the time, and Meek Mill is the opening act for her tour. BOOM.
Drake-1, Meek Mill-0.
